“This painting came from community and participating in MFD. Have never really painted and wanted to try something new, and inspired by art that I grew up with, using the medicine wheel as an inspiration”.
Steven is also known as a Firekeeper in his Blackfood Community. He often gifts the My Friend Dave community with teachings from his grandmother, smudging and praying in his language. He has also taken the MFD team to NoseHill to teach everyone how to forage with respect.
